First, there was this. Ben Mezrich’s first non-fiction novel, “Bringing Down the House.” and of course, they made a movie…maybe you heard of it, titled “21.” Like any other book-movie remake the book is always better. Don’t be turned away by the fact that it was written about MIT students. The top-notch kids that knew nothing but numbers, statistics, and equations introduced BlackJack in a whole new light…outside of the common misconception of luck. This book is a true, page turner. Nothing short of excitement and fear. What’s better than winning thousands of dollars? Oh wait, losing too.
In July, 2009 Mezrich released “The Accidental Billionaires” Let’s just say folk’s I’ve been waiting since July for my copy but someone keeps beating me to it at the library. (Even at my school library!) It’s already September and I have yet to pick it up. So, If you can… grab your copy! and read about the two guys that made filling up your time between classes or wasting it, too. The two Harvard graduates that connected us all around the world but more importantly how they became “The Accidental Billionaires.”
